My name is Vibha Shetiya. I was born in Bombay but moved to Luanshya, Zambia, when I was a year old. I returned to India with my parents as a teenager and then came to the United States for grad school in 1999. I have lived in Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, and Pittsburgh. I love that it’s difficult for me to pin-point where exactly I’m from (although it was rather confusing as a teenager, I’ll admit that much :) – I just say I’m a citizen of the world!
